I can remember Bovver's locusts in those glass cabinets but for what scientific purpose no idea and his demonstration of extinguishing matches by opening a coke can.Otherwise a complete blank!!

No, as i was not around then, but can anyone remember Commander Normans science lessons with Tadpoles and frogs, and "potassium in water" demonstration in the yard outside the stable block/science block. Tadpoles were great, especially when attempting to syphon them into another tank and "accidentally" swollow 'em!

Does anyone rememer who it was who attached one of those tiny electronic buzzers to the mains electricity, subsequently, the buzzer made a strange noise, and then a bang leaping in the air and leaving a black mark on the fire retardent mat.
Mr Brewer said something about "Dicing with Death" much to our amusement. Well, amusing at the time, some what reckless looking back.
John.
