Knives!!

i was talking with friends the other day about how we were allowed knives at ravenswood and they were shocked. now i come to think about it, it is a bit unusual - you'd never get away with that kind of thing these days. i seem to remember even having one of those GAT air pistols in my tuck box - incredible! i had one of those pen knives with a fork and spoon on each side. never used the spoon though, and the fork bent the only time i used that!


don't forget, if you're thinking of bringing your sheath knife to the reunion, to make sure you register it with major meeke as soon as you get there, or you're likely to get the whacks!

Actually... I DID get stabbed with a sheath knife. It was in the changing rooms, and I was walking one way as another boy (name withheld) was running the other way with a sheath knife unsheathed. Accidentally he did stick it into me, but only into my hand, fortunately. I still bear the scar today...

Memorabilia ? Do you remember that we were allowed to bring sheath knives into school and carried them around with us when we were in 'woods'. Looking back I think that is just unbelieveable there weren't any stabbing incidents. Well I found my knife the other day...it's absolutely huge ...I'm going to bring it to the reunion....sharpened of course.
