Dave Durn - just a few memories was created by admin
Yep Mr E was a weird bugger, definetely not right in the head, but always good for a laugh. My very last memory of him was of him breaking down in tears and giving James Faulkner a bear hug before having to rush of to compose himself. Its definetely my round if i ever meet him again.

It was Mr Everett. He was a right drunk bastard as I remember - used to drive the brand new white minibus like a maniac and wing board rubbers and books around at will in the classroom. Once made the whole class copy out an entire chapter of a history text book because someone had pissed him off in the lesson.

Your talking about Mr Everett surely? He was PE, history and i think RE teacher. I remember he used to stand in the dining hall whilst we were eating with his hands shoved down the front of those lycra jogging pants of his. I didn't like to ask what he was doing and to be honest i don't want to know.

I just had a god awful memory of one of the matrons making me stand in the room were they kept all the linen by the boys dorm and making me stand there with soap in my mouth for half an hour i think charlie shute was standing next to me as well,a fellow sinner. I have got so many memories including the time dean cosker rugby tackled me in our dorm and broke my collar bone. The matrons in their wisdom thought i had just sprained my shoulder. about 3 days later they allowed me to got to hospital, nice. Is the sports hall still there rumour was that was why the place whent bust?Anyone remember running on those damn wooden floors and getting the biggest F*****g splinters. In PE we used to play quick cricket but we called it plastic spastic cricket. On the last night before the end of term the boarders used to have pillow fights thats when you didnt get caught.Remember the cross counrtry runs that when down the rugby pitches on to the lane behind them and up past the science lab.Remember the good and bad mark scheme that they had,no matter how hard i tried i could never win that award, when you got one you were alloweed a sweet in the headmasters office not mr cj the other one.I remember mr cjs wife having a competition to see who could keep there backs straightest at meals and chris battle won.Remember the tuck boxes that were kept in a line along the corridor above the great hall.Anyway that is just a few things that came to my mind of many ill think of some more and let you know.Who was the mad PE teacher that taught RE and used to headbutt the black board, i remember him wearing an alarming amount of lycra when running its bugging me what his name is.
