Mr Mackie took David Morrish and i down to the swimming pool in September to see if we could swim.
boy was it cold, we both did two laps and jumped out quicker than you can say Abricadabra.
i we had a headache for hours after that.
playing in the Senior side (Form III >) of the Forrest was so much better than the Junior side (form I + II)
just to be away from all the younger kids, but had to look out for the form IV's and V's not to get picked on.
Major Gardner and other teachers walking through the dining room and smacking you up side the head when
you had bad manners, such as two handed sandwich eating or elbows on the table, sitting straight. still to this day i
never slouch at the table. not looking forward to the end bread in the big bread bins in the dining room entrance. Moldy
Really good Apricot Crumble for desert and being fortunate to get 2nd's if you were seated near the desert tray.

Mr Donovan's big hands throwing the chalk at you in class when you were talking or not paying attention
playing Croquet was so much fun on the weekends. Buying candy for the Tuck box with our allowance.

The big cupboard where we had to put any valuables (camera, tape recorder, binoclulars etc etc.)

and i can keep going on and on, i'll add more soon
Giles
