SUCCESS - I'm hopeful that this image isn't too big and the names are included at the bottom.
This is the 1944 Cricket Team and hopefully the image will ultimately be added to the Archive - Sports Images by James Paul in due course.
This photo was provided by Tony Richmond - his website is silviba.com - who attended Ravenswood 1941 - 1945 and proof at last that photos exist of Pupils / Teams during the War Years - though we are still hopeful of any Wartime Whole School Images. I believe it to be a myth that no images were taken during the War and perhaps someone reading this will be able to add substance to this belief.
I have posted a link on the Ravenswood Facebook so that those who seldom visit the Website are aware of this rare image and perhaps may recognise some of the names. NOTE: There is one "unknown" in the list - any suggestions????
