This forum doesn't seem to be very active. Not surprising, I would think people have far better things to do! I am a bit bored and am in our Austrian mountain house without the wife (who is in Monaco on business, with luck she joins tomorrow). I was at Ravenswood sometime in the late 50's -- it had a disproportionate impact on me as my parents divorced at that time, went abroad to separate countries and dumped me on the highest hill in Devon! Still time has managed to translate what was probably a grim period into pleasant and eccentric memories!

I played sport, quite well at prep school level, not so great later on, rather more competition. The Cunningham cousins (they were cousins weren't they, not brothers?) I remember well. They tried to take me on a French holiday but my father didn't give his consent (probably wrongly suspecting dodgy business) -- I never really forgave him for robbing me of that adventure! I remember Schuster who was nice and Whitaker who was not. I remember a 16 year old junior matron called Jennifer Brown. I went on to Blundell's, down the road as it were.
